One company, two surfaces

IMPT is a single operating company that runs two consumer surfaces: a carbon-neutral hotel-booking platform at app.impt.io, and an e-commerce shop at shop.impt.io. The on-chain carbon-retirement mechanic is currently linked to hotel bookings; shop orders use conventional EU-wide fulfilment.

Is the on-chain carbon offset applied to shop orders too?

No — currently the on-chain retirement mechanic is linked to hotel bookings only. 1 tonne of UN-verified CO₂ retired on-chain per booking — 28× the average per-night hotel footprint. IMPT funds it from its commission, so the guest pays the standard nightly rate.

When will IMPT-token checkout go live?

Token-pay is on the roadmap, no committed date — the spec details will be announced when they're ready. Card checkout is the supported flow today.
